Borj Suite

The character

Sixty square metres, two bedrooms and a sitting room, for stays that last.

The suite holds an entire wing of the house. An entrance, a sitting room with its fireplace and daybed, a bedroom with a double bed, a second with two single beds: it's the room for families and long stays, the one where five people fit without crowding.

It has its own private terrace, looking out over the mouth of the Bouregreg, and beyond it a little of the open sea. It also has access, like every guest, to the shared terraces of the house, including the rooftop, where the Atlantic comes into view.

Its name comes from Borj Adoumoue, the Bastion of Tears, a 550-metre walk from here, looking out to open water. It was from this bastion that the Republic of Salé watched the river mouth, and it was there that people came to mourn the captives being shipped out.
